I offer workshops periodically in Restorative Yoga and guided meditation (Yoga Nidra). I periodically offer Bodymind Ballwork (or Ball-Asana) classes in a workshop format as well as part of my Align and Refine class repertoire. Also, from time to time I work with local massage therapists to bring a special offering to the public. Restorative yoga is a quiet, gentle practice utilizing yoga props to fully support the body as we hold floor poses for longer periods. Our focus is on relaxing the body and quieting the mind in order to recharge the energy. I offer restorative workshops and private sessions. Want more information?

Yoga Nidra

This form of guided meditation, practiced lying down, induces a deep state of relaxation while maintaining awareness. From this place of rest, we begin a journey of self-inquiry which ultimately leads to a more fulfilled life. My 2 - 3 hour workshops include a physical practice and breathing exercises followed by guided meditation.

Bodymind Ballwork

This practice combines self-treat massage techniques with gentle yoga poses. Using our own body weight and balls ranging in size from 1" to 10", we massage and release muscles and soft tissue to create ease and increase range of motion. Learn more.

Alignment Basics

Do you feel pain when lowering from plank to the floor? Have you ever injured your neck doing shoulder stand? Do you feel a twinge in your lower back when folding forward? Practicing yoga shouldn't hurt. Learn how to bring alignment basics into any practice. Yoga teachers receive CE's from Yoga Alliance.

Prenatal Yoga

We come together in prenatal yoga to share knowledge and support and to have fun. We practice yoga postures, breathing exercises and deep relaxation techniques with a focus on the specific needs of the pregnant woman. I am a Certified Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher, and can assist you in making accommodatiions for your growing child in any of my classes.

Postnatal Yoga

Our focus is to draw back in and strengthen over-stretched core muscles and to open up over-tight shoulders. We also take some time in each class to seek advice and share tips and tricks before an extended relaxation period. I've combined my knowlege of postnatal yoga and developmental baby yoga and massage, to create a program called Wee OnesTM Yoga.
